Message from the Grand Worthy Matron

Greetings,

Pray all is well. . .

I have received numerous phone calls and cards expressing your enjoyment at this year's Annual Communication.  We had a few moments, but all and all I agree with all of you, that it was a successful endeavor.  Thank you all again for the beautiful gifts, love tokens and I will be sending you an official 'Thank You' soon.  I also need to send a Special Thank You to my Aide de Camp, WM Shirley Brown for taking such good care of me during Session and getting me all packed up.

I thank you all again for allowing me to serve another year as your Grand Worthy Matron.  I've learned many lessons this year and look forward in continuing my journey as a officer and member of PHGC, Order of Eastern Star and in serving all of you.

I'm requesting you all join me again this year in serving our Prince Hall Grand Chapter.  There is still work to be done and I know with your assistance we'll have another wonderful year.  I will be making a few changes in respect to Appointed Officers and Committees.  I will be sending out PHGC Appointments within the next two weeks.  Again, everyone stepped up to the plate this year, but due to other obligations a few changes are required at this time.  The majority of my Appointed Officers and Committees will remain the same and I thank you in advance for accepting these appointments (Smile).

Please feel free to send me any suggestions or concerns you may have as we move forward.  Everyone's input is important to me and I would love to hear and share any suggestions you may hsve with the rest of our membership.  Since we had an Officers Meeting in June, I will probably not schedule another Officers Meeting until late September or early October.  I will be in touch with everyone via email of course to keep you informed of any PHGC business.

Pray for our Sisters and Brother in the various District as they travel home.  Continue to pray for Prince Hall Grand Chapter and for each other.
